Arkansas Secretary of State Announces World Wide Notary as an Authorized Electronic Notary Solution Provider

World Wide Notary (Privately Held Texas Corporation). The Arkansas Secretary of State announces World Wide Notary as an authorized Electronic Notary Solution Provider as part of their electronic notarization initiative. According to Secretary of State Mark Martin, "We are offering to help Arkansas business owners conduct operations more efficiently and economically," Martin said. "By electronically notarizing documents, procedures can be completed quickly, even if the parties of a transaction are miles apart, and without the expense of printing or mailing paper."

"We are pleased..." said Bob Rice, CEO of World Wide Notary, LLC.

World Wide Notary's DigaSign, an Internet application, allows any Windows-based document to be electronically signed, notarized and delivered within a secure environment. With security and notary integrity its critical responsibility, World Wide Notary stringently validates all user identities and monitors a notary's commission standing with the Secretary of State. If a notary's commission has expired or has been revoked, DigaSign will prevent that notary from conducting an electronic notarization.

DigaSign also uses the latest in technology for encryption and security to ensure that documents remain confidential and cannot be altered once completed. DigaSign's secure, patent pending technology exceeds federal mandates and state regulations regarding Internet security, encryption and use of electronic and digital signatures.

"With DigaSign, customers will experience step-by-step workflow processes similar to what they would in a paper environment. This ease of use allows for quick adoption by notarizes and customers alike. When complete, the notarized document is ready for electronic delivery in a matter of minutes," said Sheila Hemphill, VP of Sales, World Wide Notary.

"One of my primary goals for this program was that it involve minimal cost to both the taxpayers and the notary," Martin said. "I believe we have met that goal, and I am very pleased that we can offer electronic notary services. I look forward to seeing this initiative grow in Arkansas."
